Hi There, thanks for letting me know about that.

I do have a Pair of Devon and Dorset Shoulder Titles which I understand are 1956 era; so that would be as late as I would really like to go.

Seems to be so much out there which is fake/restrike/etc. so thought I would come to those...

Saw collar badge on that well-known auction site the other day. Appeared to also be Chindit however could not find any reference.

Okay the badge in question appears to be:

17th Loyal (Purbia) Regiment badge.
Pre Scroll type but also Kings crown.

Thanks for that, all I know is that it was an Officer who was in the Reserve Indian Army during WW1. Does that narrow down what it could be?
