This wing looks like a post WW2 standard issue wing that has had a safety pin attached for easy removal in tropical conditions.

Your wing is a standard UK manufactured wing but on black backing which was not uncommon.

As to why some wings were produced on a brown / khaki background and others black is still a mystery....
