The blazer badge and the motto is of the {2nd Dragoons} Royal Scots Greys who often used a thistle as their badge as well as the eagle and their regimental motto is {SECOND TO NONE} Regards Scots grey

I have a Kings royal rifle corps QVC i thought perhaps 1874 TO 1881 but this badge has no 60 between the strings also the crown looks slightly different the crown in Kipling and Kings has the wings...
