I believe this is one of the new counterfeits that someone in the UK has been producing to fool collectors. This one in particular has been aged to deceive. I can't remember where I first saw them...

Over the years I have seen a number of different variants of the WW2 era British Commando shoulder patch. I came across these four patches and they look promising from the front but not the reverse....

Thanks for your input. It doesn't look like a Belgium paratrooper wing unless a Canadian insignia company is producing them for them which might explain why it looks Canadian.

I don't own this piece which I bid for unsuccessfully on eBay. It was described by the seller out of the USA as a "Belgium Rigger Wing". I've never come across a rigger wing like this before...
