CAR Beret
Very nice early example, great pictures, Thank You.
It's nice to see the Cdn AB Regt memorabilia, as it has become hard to find now that we are over 25 years since the disbandment.

Another Possibility?
I'm not current on my wings, but w the bluish colour, maybe something SAR jump suit. It's the first I've seen. The backing also might give something re dating it.
Thanks for the feedback!! Paul

Odd Coloured Para Wing Base Material
Hi,
Looking for any thoughts on this older Canadian Jump Wing.
It has what appears to be a bluish/green melton cloth base. It looks similar to the type 8 wing referenced in "Jump Wings" by Ken...

Great Info!

So, he was likely G3 Avn, Rotary, but could have been fixed wing.
Thinking about it, he would have been qualified in both roles, maybe double hatted. Interesting to see...

Air Ops Badge and SSF Smock
Member wearing the Air Ops badge was likely the G3 Avn for the SSF. He would have been a Heli pilot, responsible for planning Joint Ops w 427 Sqn and the SSF. One of a very very small number who...
