I noticed these two gilding metal Territorial Shoulder Titles pop up on ebay today from the infamous faker of badges named above.

Its an officers cap badge of the 5th VB Cheshire Regiment, c. 1898 - 1908.

previously worn by 5th Cheshire RV's but not with that rear configuation.

The belt and bandoliers are the standard British Army Pattern 1903 Bandolier Equipment worn by everyone, until superceded by the 1908 Webbing Equipment which probably wouldnt have reached the OTC...

The badge with these style of rifles was adopted in 1898 and if its silver bullion would have been for the Volunteer Force that ceased to exist in 1908, so the end date is correct, but the start date...
