This has been mentioned before.
I recall the consensus was up to 70 or 72. The first black hawks were black paint on gold anodised before the black anodised version came in.

The font appears to be very similar to the Gaunt London one.
Could they have been a sub division of Gaunts or were their sliders made by Gaunts ?

The mark also appears on a Kuwati air force...

Hi Chris,the RDY artillery badge is gold anodised. I've found that the sliders on these are prone to breaking. They are weak at the point of the right angle of the slide.

It's a Rifles TRF on blue.
They did have a different badge prior to adopting the Rifles one. But I don't know what it was. I was told they were very difficult to find.
