You could be correct = Worn by staff within Brigade HQ . But definitely not by the major units in Hohne Garrison during that period 85-93 .

Marc,

Being in Hohne from 1985-1993, I concur with Alan that no 22 Armoured Brigade formation Arm Badge were worn

14/20th

Hi Bill ,

The 14/20th examples I posted cant be officers pre 1915 14th Hussar , as the GUANT mark London was only in used from 1940 -1959 .
To that end I’m 100% sure they are 14th/20th?

This plate was produced 1992 ish prior to amalgamation with the QOH . They were still available for sale in the regimental PRI in 2006 .

I also have a mint example , with what I would say a minor manufacturing finish to the badge . Which would make it difficult to fake .

As mentioned in the above post it’s a sand cast 7th Hussars NCO armbadge , the slider has been added at a later date .

It’s not a cap badge. !!!!!!

I was led to believe it was a side hat badge to the 2nd Life guards but as Manchesters has said impossible with a QC .
