I asked a while back but i am still looking for some ref pictures of the 4/7th DG and 5th skin,s cerimonial dress back in the 1980,s. Any help most welcome

Robs info looks sound to me.
Not every change is recorded as a sealed paten if the badge remains fundamentally the same i thought.

some items did change others did not. Officers seem to have updated their czapka plates to kings crown . The other ranks did not.

Has anyone got any good pictures of these regiments post 1922 pre 1993 ceremonial dress ?.
Or tell me what the uniform was pretty sure 5th skins green trousers yellow strip and a red white plume....

Arm motto

Well finally got my Arm motto. This is very similar to Yorkstones it to has the duty hallmarked and no back plate which is very unusual .

Yes
there is a collar with the normal queens Crown. Two types of pouch badge gold and a silver one. Also, the very first initial issue red backed badge made for the amalgamation parade.

Just watched a 17th white metal NCO Arm motto sell on ebay for £454 that's madness it had been pin broached and looked like it had a bone repair. Have I missed something ?

Not quiet the eye watering £900 on the Bosley site for a firmin some 7 odd years ago. I had a go at this one but a bit to expensive . Someone will be happy.
