"The cap (and collar) badges of the MGC were reduced in size in ?1919 .." however it may also be noted that the Vickers pattern used on this is of the early, pre-1917 type I think...so early collars...

I'm afraid the tank corps one I've had for some time...the slider appears to be a repair/replacement. It's the extra intracacy of the detail ( the rewduced resolution for posting doesn't show all)...

Alan, I think you misunderstand - "bar" refers to a feature on the design, ie a thick rod, or whatever you want to call the feature of a raised, short, straight, very fat line.
