I've got one, the tin has a card that holds the pencil to stop it rattling about and damaging it, there's also a film, probably with the iwm that shows officer's at 3 or 4 tables with the tins on one...

I'd expect an officer's badge to be much better than that although there were some cheap and ropey ones made, at best as said theatre made imo.

As said the projectile seems to be a 20mm ball round hispano cannon shell as used in later spitfires for example and its probably been in the ground 50 years before being put with this lot.
