RND Officers cap badge

Hi, just picked up this Royal Naval Division Officers cap badge, I'm very pleased with it, it seems to be the die cast 2nd pattern type badge shown in Paddy's album but as always any observations...

The machine gun units in the Royal Naval Division had their own cap badge and according to Westlake wore the curved RND shoulder title , does anyone know if they also wore the standard MGC cap badge...

What do you think of this one guys, it seems to tick all the right boxes for a Gaunt Drake badge but you never know! I notice that there appears to be more then one type of brazing hole on the back...

Indeed Frank, the thin brass can make it seem a little fragile but it's quite a sturdy badge and athough well rubbed it has a nice patina to it, I really like this badge, cheers,
