Good condition for a BEAULAH badge. The front domed covers are Perspex, which tended to get scratched and dulled through over enthusiastic cleanup with abrasive cleaners/cloths.

Subdued bullion usually means without colour; I’ve not got one here to photograph but RN Officer bullion cap badges had ‘jewelling’ (colour) as well as the gold wire. Subdued would be plain bullion.
