Yep that’s him, he moved to nottingham and worked as a woodsman cutting down trees with an axe for an estate. He was around 7” and a very strong man with size 16 feet, so he dwarfed everything...

He was born in 1879 in Aldbury, Hertfordshire. I can’t be sure if it would fall under berkhampstead in the registry but I’d say that’s probably him given the year :)
