Ok, you probably know all this, a quick check, Myra was registered a NZ nurse in January 1914, she then moved to Australia in Sept 1914 with the intent to go into private practice.

Many New Zealanders could not get places in the NZ Forces, so traveled to Australia to enlist. I wonder if Myra Smith was one of...
