Yes those buttons all have QVC, and it appears the cap badge with KC was a temporary expedient, thus it seems likely as stated earlier that my button is an 'original' from circa 1960s.

Yes thanks for the clarification, I would tend to veer on the side it being a fake then as the crown looks like a QVC to me.

Here is a silver plated button with AR under Victorian crown. If not military it presumably represents some official organisation or other, I have not been able to identify it but no doubt someone...

Thanks for those, the O in GPO stumped me because it is open, and the symbol on the WRAC badge looked like an M if anything, I don't know if it is meant to represent a stylised W or something else.
