Roden Toronto 1917 RFC Badge - Lug Question

Can I get an opinion on this Canadian Made RFC Badge? It has flat lugs that look original to the badge. Did Roden make these with flat lugs? Thx

Its seems to be an unusually high quality badge...

Its seems to be an unusually high quality badge with the maker stampings applied by hand. Ok I won't question the feedback but why would a maker put a plated stamp on a badge?

Question 3rd Carabiniers Officer's Badge?

I just received some British Officer badges and I need help with this one.

This 3rd Carabiniers badge appears to be an Officer's pattern. Does anyone know that the "P" on the reverse side...
