Above worn from '92 until stocks ran out...£35 from PRI.

As a Pte/Rgr I wore one & nobody tumbled.

The black casting sand made them a bugger to clean initially.

I think most officers ran...

Any pics of the KC RIRegt badge worn at Coronation?

Worn at Coronation but Regt too late to re order, badge not as per spec, understand 'UDR' maid of erin vice the recent 'enamel' thinner shape.

500 were made.

Cavalry NCO's & pagri?

Can anyone please id the arm? badges and confirm my suspicion that the Lincolnshire's badge is a pagri badge. It has quite long lugs and seems to have been bronzed.

MUST be a story here!

Can't see Ian putting on an obviously damaged button, 'voided' between legs, the Wilts dented or 'splashed' their buttons in memory of Carrickfergus.

6th DG or Carabiners but why the hole?

Dear Al, Why the 'O' cut out? Was it an affectation of a dandy to reflect sunlight, make a noise or otherwise draw attention, I think I read of such yrs ago but can't remember the source?

Brass 'G I' shoulder title?

Badge on WW2 Army documents case.

A friend has a documents case with a painted 'DZ' type badge - green/red/green

The only officer I can find of the same name as on the case, Col McFadden is Dr & Col J McFadden who served 1918-46....
