The others seem typical cast Indian quality badges. I know little about Indian stuff, by their size I assumed they were collars, but I genuinely do not know....

Hi Todd,
Its 37 0r 38, pattern No9980a which according to Churchill was authorised on Dec 14th 1897 (Figure 6 is the previous with the smaller thinner scroll).
Very confusing!

Cast 5thSeaforths

A very heavy solid badge, any idea who may have worn this badge? If it's a fake then a very expensive one with the amount of metal used?
Cheers

Thanks Kingsley and Ian.
The NZ badge does say 1st BN by the way.
Ian, the badge appears solid silver, so quite a scarce badge if only worn for 16 years I would think.

This came to me with a bag of mainly restrikes. Is it a large collar badge or just a fake. Not the best striking.

Yorkshire Dragoons

Have studied the forum for this badge. Think they are all fake. The smallest one with a short slider is gilded, but a poor striking. A much forged badge, help to confirm either way appreciated.
