I think that would make it 1946 then, but it should be Lion-Anchor-letter ..... post 1950 we see Anchor-Lion-Letter but the stamp shape changes. Gilt would have been a service dress metal...

I would say that that was a collar on the size of those loops...... here is the hallmark, I am just trying to establish the date and where, the where has got me because it does not look...

Anyway, its not unusual for collars to be worn in the FFSCap for example. Its certainly seen in other regiments.
