How were shoulder titles/formation signs sewn to uniform sleeves? On most of the World War II examples I've seen, there never seems to be any visible stitching on them, unlike the Great War badges...

What sign/flash did Seaforth Highlanders battalion wear on battledress during World War II? I know the Black Watch had the black diamond sign, but I don't know about the other Highland regiments.

I was wondering what cloth insignia would appear on World War II battledress for a Royal Engineers.

I know there'd be the 'Royal Engineers' title on top, then division sign below and blue and red...
