I've just found a couple of relatives emigrated to Canada and then joined the 5th Canadian Infantry Battalion to go off to WW1.

I saw a number on the back but couldn't see if they were properly stamped like the originals or printed.

I was thinking the lugged could be mistaken for a collar badge once some of these dodgy...
