Alan ,

Attached photo of my example, this is in my 15th Hussars collection . Measurements tip of lions crown to bottom of crown is 61 mm , width is 34mm

Not 100% sure but believe it’s...

Your a lucky man to pickup one of these. I’ve only seen 3 Officers examples of this badge in the 40 yrs of collecting , ones in my collection

Victorian 17th (Duke of Cambridge's Own) Lancers Czapka Cap Plate

For sale

A QVC die stamped brass other ranks czapka plate for the 17th Lancers

This has been in my lancer collection for the last 20 year

In good condition complete with two screw post...
