Thank you to everyone for identifying the cap badge as the Royal Army Ordnance Corps. That's a marvelously quick response. His name was Walter Herbert Newland, date of birth 7 March 1885.

Identification of regiment required

Can anyone identify the regiment in the attached photo of my grandfather who enlisted during WW1?

He was from Surrey but lived in Sussex.
