Ah ok , probably still a pre 60ís Tam Iím sure others more in the know will confirm, Iíve seen match sticks holding badges a couple of times before, probably not fitted by the soldier himself I doubt...

All looks ok from the pictures, is that a quilted liner in the Tam? I think if so then Tam is before the 1960ís they changed after I believe to no liner ( for other ranks anyway)

Btns beat me to it, the regiment reverted back to Welch in 1920, and I agree with Tim in that itís not a British Officers Sam Browne, nice looking tunic though.
