Sorry if appears that the badge has been completely flattened, as I said it is only the ends of the cross bones that are flattened, I will take some metal polish to it to discover what metal it is...

I often find that some badges are guilty by association, if a seller who has known fake badges for sale and I see any of these being offered it puts my guard up straight away.
