the coffin lugs were used from pre war and i have seen several A's with these lugs on genuine colour patches. as you say, many were sourced from UK manufacturers....

i tried to bid on a few things but they knocked stuff down not giving anyone time.
but there were several that were knocked down and sold only to reopen to accept another...
