I don't know what this is, but I know there are quite a number of Boy Scout Groups which wear Phoenix badges. It's possible it could be one of those. Just a suggestion!

Thanks for that. It could well be a Scout patch as the person I had it from collects Scout badges. I will investigate further through Scouting circles.
