So a later mark than the &Son mark, ard we talking 30's to 40's?

Was the F&F an OR's badge? I've only really seen this mark on Officers badges. And mine is definitely an OR's bi metal.
I suppose it is a hard one to date.

My Great Grandfather joined the 5th Dragoon Guards in 1891, then transferred to the 3DG in 1895.
He reached L/Cpl in the 5DG.
Can I confirm that the badges worn would have been the bi metal...
