This is from a listing on eBay. I notice the back is flat, not die cast. Does that mean that it’s fake?

General tips on identifying fakes.

I’m new to collecting badges, and I was wondering if there were any general tips on what to look out for when buying either in person or online. What are some common signs a badge is a fake?

I recently started collecting militaria, and I bought these two badges from a U.K. online shop. They were listed as WW1/WW2. Is there a way I can be more specific than that? They are from the South...
