Thanks, I think you both are dead right. Looking at the Threads on the studs more closely, they are moulded and have a mould line on them so would never have taken a nut.

It has a QVC, but I have read that they were not fomed until 1908?

85mm x 70mm. Three threaded studs on reverse....

I have this X1 (11th) Hussars (Prince Alberts Own) Shoulder Title with Roman Numerals. Gilded.
It appears to be Theatre or Indian made going by the Lugs.
I can only find Arabic numeral examples....
