Royal Gurkha Rifles cap badge

Rather than a beret badge, I wonder if it has been made with clutch pins to go on the Gurkha hat and fitted through the rifle green backing square and the puggaree to minimise damage to the hat. Done...

Royal Gurkha Rifles

Clutch pin fittings on a cap badge would not last if fitted to a beret. The Gurkha shop has this item but I suspect his beret badge is not full size!
