Hi there

I think the bottom wing may be Ansett Airlines but I have never seen a cloth version. The second bottom wing, I have no idea. Looks like some sort of British crest in the middle, but I...

Original WW2 Australian Paratrooper Wing?

Looks like a copy to me - the fabric looks too new and the definition of the outlines looks too perfect. Julian would certainly be able to verify it - my speciality is more to do with RAAF wings.

Malayan Volunteer Air Force (MVAF) vs MAAF

Thanks SAS1

I have seen the MAAF badge advertised for auction many years ago as a 1934-35 badge. I looked up the origins of the MAAF and Wikipedia reared its head and that is where the confusion...

RAAF Combat Controller badge?

Hi there guys

This badge was recently for sale on ebay and advertised as a JBAC badge which is incorrect as no JBAC badge would have a dagger in it. This badge does have e resemblance of a...

Early 1950s Bullion RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force) Full Dress Observer Wing

Thanks for the post and photo SAS1.
I agree with you on the price - if genuine it seems like a bargain. It certainly looks old and does not seem to be a modern production. Its background would be...

At around 8cms (if I am reading the tape measure correctly), wouldn't this be too big for mess dress?

Certainly has the same design as the Police Patrol badge but not the same colours. Could be onto something here. It seems certain from previous post that it is not RCAF.
