I noticed this medal on a TV show. It was part of a framed DFM group. It clearly is of QE II uncrowned but the group is supposed to be WW II.

I tend to agree with Mike H but I like the suggestion from 54Bty but I wonder if the poor blokes wearing it would feel more like Christmas trees than soldiers.
