Brian, I would say yes as he is wearing a Sam Browne belt and I would think that a WO1 would not be on the side but right in the middle.

Sean, It looks like there was a formation patch on his left arm, you can just make out the outline where it was, Maybe removed when qualified for SAS??

It is white metal and I was led to believe it was for Army & Navy stores(NAAFI) I have not found any information to confirm this so I am keeping it there until I find a definite answer....

The belt seems well made for just a few attached personal. Would the Regiment have many RLC attached or would it be a Army Reserve unit??

I always thought that the silver A/A badge was a collar badge that was also worn as a beret badge and the normal badge was gold & silver coloured A/A.
