When the ACD took over issuing badges in 1916 I would expect siiders to be used. The IWM has the s/p card for the shoulder titles in their collection but not the cap badge.

If you go to the larger photo you can see that the majority are unpolished bronze but 2 or 3 are not so I suspect that they may be w/m and being worn in lieu of the correct bronzed ones.

They were only issued from 1908 and then the regt was merged/coverted to Devonshires in WW1 so total period of wear would have been only from 1908-early 1917.
