I've presently got the page open as I write. Bloomer's lineage detail is excellent and very easy to follow, but I'm afraid my old dull brain...

Thank you Alan that clears it up nicely and even better for me - my extemporised picture is correct.

The only badge that is different of the five TF battalions is the 8th being the cyclist badge....

I'm trying to sort out the antecedents of the various Territorial Black Watch Battalions and put them in a picture format for myself as I find working between the two Bloomer publications confusing....
