I found a couple, but it's difficult to date them, though one is from the Cape.
Of course it is impossible to know what fitting they have.

Look at the cat though and it's clear definition, not at all like roadkill. :D

Yes, the only official data available is whether the tail is raised behind or hidden below the cat's body it doesn't actually state bushy or otherwise.

It's poor voiding.

On the badges were the cat's tail is not raised, it is hidden and cannot be seen under the body, like on the 1904 and 1913 patterns below.
The raised tail should never be bushy...

If you mean why is your badge not included with it's tail raised, it's because your badge dates From 1882 to 1904 and is a totally different pattern altogether being one of the two un-voided types.

The only voided badge i can see in the whole thread with the tail up is Leigh's.

The bushy, squirrell like tail on the others, I don't think is a tail at all and is down to the way the badge has...

Sorry if I implied the two badges were original Edwardian badges, that's not really what I meant.
I meant that the design/pattern is the 1910 sealed pattern - Voided with tail raised behind the cat....

This pattern is believed to be an error, produced in 1910, which was corrected in 1913 with the cats' tail under the body.
