Please post a picture of the whole badge. That would help enormously. Polish Army in Exile (PSZ) had badges made in many places. PAF - Polish Air Force mostly UK made with some early ones in France....

PS - always check the pockets. Spare SP badge and Good Conduct stripe in the breast...

It's a standard East Lance cap badge isn't it? White metal with a brass rose. Brooched, which is very typical sweetheart or mufti badge during WW1.
