Hi Paul,

I steer clear of sliders like that in generally in metal badges (my personal collecting choice)... I do have a few staybrites with, for want of a better description 'corsely cut' sliders...

Paul,

The braze holes which I've seen copied are either circular or an oval/ellipse shape. I think you're certainly pretty safe with rectangular braze holes and probably OK with more squarish ones...
