According to Tylden DFH was merged with Kimberley Rifles in 1899 but continued as DFH till 1902 when amalgamation took place. So that probably would account for the KC badges been produced.

Gilt officers collar is good but unfortunately the bronze one is one of the common fakes. Notice the sand casting pebbling to the flat areas of the badge and the solid crown.

Terry, Not a cap badge. These were only collars as identified in the posts by various members.
As Alex pointed out and seen on the photographs. The cap badge is standard RAF pattern.
