The originals have 2 lugs in the centre of the badge. For some reason the fakes are often seen with the lugs set too high on the badge.

It is the Lowland Regiment which has 4 lugs.

I assume a factory mistake as it was not worn as a cap badge.

It was small OTC but was in existence up to WW2...

It was small OTC but was in existence up to WW2 and was wearing the PoW plume version then. One of the harder ones to find and both versions remain on my wants list.
