No nothing else just English silversmith based in London, before 1811 initials were in a plain oval punch . Internet search shows he made some fancy stuff like soup tureens so may not be your SH.

Probably supposed to be a reproduction of WW1 2nd Cavalry Division sign, original had left hand horseshoe in white with a red overlapping horseshoe.

The crown is very similar to Victorian crowns found on E Surrey and DLI badges and the lion appears to have the more curved usual QVC or could be Edward VII crown but not WW2, sure someone will know...

Thank you for your help, I think you are right about the rose, have looked at the back and no markings on it but the hole through the backing plate is a bit jagged so as you say not original.

5th Battalion Seaforth Highlanders Silver ??

Would be grateful for any info on this badge. Tests positive for silver and certainly cleans up like silver but is unmarked, pattern of feathers slightly different to that shown in the reference...

I don't think it was bronze just a bit darker than normal brass, I no longer have the badge so can only go by the pictures. Best Regards
