Never removed paint from a badge before.

Ayrshire Imperial Yeomanry

The back of this badge looks very new, slider also looks new and a little thin.
It does have a faint crimp mark and slider attached by gold braize.
So not hopeful and would like a second opinion....

This badge has had a white/silver Finish to the rose.
Their is a description of this in KK volume 2 as follows
Rose in WM and Imperial crown in GM
Badge is GM with this finish applied, I thought...
