Badge identity

Hi, can anyone identify the badge in this photo please ? It's my Great Uncle, Joseph Hussey. If identified would anybody be able to give any info if he was in the regiment.

Hi Leigh, after doing more research the family think that his name was William G. Powell. Do you know if there was anyone of that name in the regiment ?
