Over the years the forum has had much success identifying armoured car arm badges.

A brooch pin fastening similar to a French or Belgian Great War period sweetheart brooch. Silver plated brass.

In my opinion the eagle is a good RNAS which I am assuming has a nice sack cloth period backing. The PO badge was of course not unique to the RNAS.

The ones I have seen were not made by jewellers. Definitely die struck (with reverse die) and made to the same scale as the usual badge.
