Associate Member - I assume a seperate numbering system.

Women's Section - Formed in 1918 , women received their own membership certificate with a number on it....

It is likely that the lowest number badges were given to the founders and members of the first branch , it is also 'probable' that the original badge numbers did match up to their membership number....

Spotted the badge and then in the 'related items' section saw a set of tickets/vouchers (complete with envelope) for the trip (not the same seller) and was lucky enough to get both items ! :D

I think most branches at some point had badges made , I've lots of them , but when branches closed the history was lost....
