The NFA was often found with not just 3 but 4 loops, the very top one with a ring for securing the flap up on the slouch hat.

Also commonly found with three loops on NZFA, RNZA & NZA cap...

Thats a massive assumption with no apparent evidence to back it up. Why should it be a badge destined for Canada?

I have 7 examples of overlaid CANADA banners on RA badges and NONE have 2 loops....
