These buttons appear to be Naval / Maritime related. Can anyone identify them ? It was suggested that they are Hong Kong related but I cannot find anything to back this up.

I can date the button to 1901 or 1902 because the Regiment was disbanded in early 1902. The previous QVC buttons of the Regiment were made by Hobsons.
