I have both 1st and 3rd examples. On both mine the lug on the number is fixed vertically. I notice that both yours are horizontal, but that could be down to a repair being made.

Thanks Alan, The two bi-metal ones do appear to be a very similar construction. I do like yours and PJT's BB version, I have concerns with mine re slider position and "flattened South Lancashire"...
